Great Wolf Lodge

We spent the night at the Great Wolf Lodge in Washington. We had such a blast, we definitely want to go back. Everyone had fun, the girls got to play and splash in the water all day, and we got to enjoy some rides too. We checked in at 1pm on Friday and we could stay through closing on Saturday (10pm), but we were so exhausted that we decided to leave just after 3pm on Saturday to head home. The room was fun, the kids had a "Cabin" to sleep in with their own bunk beds and TV. There was alot to do there, of course since we had just the one day we decided to only do the water park, but they have an arcade, a place for children to make crafts, a place for teens to hang out at, and they also have a cool interactive scavenger hunt game for kids to play that is located on the first five levels of the hotel.

10,000 gallons of water dumping down on you, it was craziness, and you got dumped on as you were waiting to ride the slides on the fort, there were several times, I had to cover the girls, because it was a huge amount coming down on you, but fun

The Kiddie House, this had many things to play with and pull, Calleigh LOVED pulling all the ropes and soaking people, her Daddy was doing the same thing! This place was definitely a hit for the whole family!

The pool area has several basketball hoops, some animals to float on, and also some lily pads that you can go across with the help of some ropes.

The stairways up to the tube slides and the Howlin' Tornado. The Howlin Tornado was fun, of course nothing compares to the Half Pipe water slide in Canada, my back hurt after going on it because the drop is so steep. It was more fun backwards, gave you more of a rush! The tube slides were fun too, because the lifeguards would kick the tubes to push you down even faster!

Calleigh going down the slide, thankfully this time she is feet first, there were several times that she came down head first because she had flipped around on the corners, silly girl. She loved it, however she always had a weary expression on her face as she came down.

Lora on the other hand, came down with a smile on her face, of course there were a few times she got flipped around, but for the most part she was able to keep upright. She also wanted to keep going and going! It was fun to watch them go down from above!

Splash Down

Calleigh was so pooped on Saturday, she walked over with Mamaw to the table, sat down on the chair and passed out within a few minutes, poor thing!!!!

Lora loved the wave pool, of course she had a hard time staying in the tube because she's so little, but that didn't stop her from jumping the waves. She was in the wave pool almost as much as the kiddie area. And it's funny as soon we'd go into the "normal" pool she'd freak out, I think she like the wave pool because she could stay in the shallow end.
