Dallas Aquatic Center

Well we knew we were headed up to the GWL and with Lora having issues with pools, we figured we'd head to the Dallas Aquatic Center so we could try to get her accustomed to it. Of course it was nice, since it was so busy no one could hear her screaming the whole time!!!!

Calleigh had fun covering the water coming out because it would squirt everyone!

My water baby, Calleigh is the opposite of Lora, she now loves the water, which is funny because when she was 1 Lora scared her in the bath and we had to sponge bathe her for close to a month, because she'd freak out in the bath, we were finally able to get her back into the bathtub, and as you can see now she has no problem with water. We'll see what happens when we go to the Ocean next, we were there a few months back and she still hated it!

A great smile from Lora, and look she's not screaming, of course she's not in deep water right now either!

My Crazy Calleigh kept leaping off the edge, she wouldn't stop, she just kept jumping and jumping, it was so funny. The funny thing is that I couldn't get her to stand next to the edge, to jump, she wanted to stand back, well she couldn't jump far enough, so many times she'd hit her bum on the way in to the water, she never did cry, just got back up and did it again. She caught some good air.

So Jer finally convinced me to let her jump and not catch her so she'd go under, man it was so hard to do, but she did awesome, she got back up and did it some more!

Calleigh wanted to go to the water, as she'd put her hand under it, she'd laugh as it pushed her hand under the water because it was coming down so fast and hard.

Lora and Aunt Sarah, she actually did much better with Sarah when we took her life jacket off, but she still was not having fun, but atleast she stopped screaming!
