Karate Competition

Well we got up TOO early to drive an hour for a Karate competition for Lora. We arrived and we were looking for our instructor, and we couldn't find him in the sea of white uniforms! We had no idea what was supposed to happen or what we were supposed to be doing. All of a sudden they started lining up, which was kind of cool, however we still had no clue where we were supposed to be, and then we finally found out all the little ones were supposed to be in another gym, so Jer went over there while I stayed in the main gym. Finally all the "tiny tigers" came in (Lora included) to the main gym. Of course I was nervous because there were so many people, but Lora did pretty good. After they all lined up we found the ring that Lora would compete in. The lady who was helping the kids and "judging" our ring was Ms Pleu and she was awesome! They had Lora do her form, there was some miscommunication so she didn't do the one that she had been practicing. So that was a little frustrating. Next time I hope Keegan, her instructor will be able to be with her to help her, stability is huge for her.

Sitting waiting patiently while everyone else has a turn, if you notice her belt is on backwards. When they had the Tiny Tigers come in, they turned their belts around so everyone could hold on and they could be in 1 big line. Well Lora didn't want to turn her belt back around no matter how hard we tried!
