Every year our family tradition to find a Christmas tree is to go in the hills above Detroit. We load the truck up and take the DVD player so we can listen to Christmas Vacation. Well we went to our usual spot, and as we were going up the road we found out for whatever reason it was blocked off, we weren't sure why, but it was very frustrating to us because we know that area, and it meant that we had to venture off to new territory in the snow with 2 little girls. But of course we were safe we packed tons of food and clothes for everyone just in the off chance something bad did happen! It took us forever roaming around looking, but it was okay because we had til 5pm before we needed to check back in with family at home. We ended up going back to where we normally go up and looking in one more spot that we could get to and we found one that would suit Jerime's needs (He's very picky, he never gets what he'd like, we always get one that looks more like a noble, poor guy, but he doesn't want to stop the tradition for a perfect tree!) The girls got to play in the snow and it was actually kind of warm out.
Snowball fight, do you see the justified fear in Calleigh's eyes, this snowball caught Calleigh straight in the face. She was not happy! Lora started crying because Calleigh was crying! It was pretty funny though! Especially from my view, I was dry!
Looking for the perfect tree
Lora's first time Snowshoeing, she did actually really well! It took her a few tries, but then she got it!
