Every year we head out above Detroit to find OUR PERFECT Tree. Everyone always makes fun of it, but we don't care. We have a great time together as a family. We watch Christmas Vacation on the way up, and then we play in the snow until we find our tree! Of course we had to pick the day that one of the biggest storms hit the area, the wind was pretty bad and at the higher elevation it snowed pretty good. Where we found our tree was lower and it was raining pretty hard. Not the perfect weather, but we still made it work, and the girls had a good time playing in the snow. The snow was coming down sideways because of the wind, but as long as you had it at your back it wasn't too cold actually.
Our truck's 4wd wasn't working right so we borrowed my Dad's truck.

Just kind of dropped her into the snow, and this is how deep she dropped too! She didn't know what to do. We then did the same to Lora.
As you can see they, then started to play in the snow around them.
Which included throwing it on each other!

Found the tree, but it was pouring down rain at that elevation, so I didn't get the normal family shots, or the shots of him chopping it down! You can see how WET his back is!
